Even though Emily Skye has the perfect body, the fitness model proves on Instagram that she’s as real as everyone else.
The 32-year-old posts a lot of perfect pictures on social networks where her body leaves you breathless.
After a month’s holiday, she shows us that she is a human after all.
Lately, Emily posted a picture on Instagram in a bikini and on the other side of the pic, she captured herself sitting down with her rolls.
The model wrote on her description:
“Sometimes I look like the pic on the left, sometimes times I look like the pic on the right – I don’t always have abs or look lean and I’m never ‘perfect.”
“So many people are aiming for this idea of ‘perfection’… but what exactly is perfection?I used to beat myself up for not being perfect (whatever that is). I’d actually feel like my “worth” was less if I didn’t look a certain way,” she added.
Wow. It’s totally inspiring to see a fitness model to post like this. She shows all of her followers that all body sizes are beautiful.
What we love about Emily is that she is sending a strong message to people who give a lot of attention to the way they look. Sometimes it’s okay to let your hair down and enjoy yourself.
In the picture she posted she explained that her life goal was to have “no rolls” when sitting down, and now she finds that ridiculous.
“I’ve just returned from being overseas for a month. I ate what I wanted and enjoyed it, I also gained a bit of extra body fat which isn’t a big deal because my lifestyle nowadays isn’t about restricting myself & I like it that way.”
The Australian fitness guru is known now to share pictures of different angles of her body, showing us all that the “perfect” image is also a trick.
Emily may well be a fitness model icon, but it’s brilliant she’s sending out a powerful message that actually, no-one is perfect, even if you think they are.
Now go treat yourself.
